MARGIE THORPE - OWNER & OPERATOR
Owner-operator Margie Thorpe is a qualified swimming instructor with over 25 years of experience teaching babies, toddlers, young children and students with special needs and disabilities. Margie is certified by AustSwim in Swimming and Water Safety, and Infant and Preschool Aquatics. She has a Swim Australia qualification as a Teacher of Swimming, and Teacher of Learners with a Disability.
SWIMMING LESSONS
The pool offers a private and safe environment and small classes allow individual attention. Only one lesson is conducted at a time, so there are no distractions. Margie provides swimming lessons for babies through to pre-school age children.
FACILITIES
Margie's Swim School provides classes all year round, without distractions such as others swimmers and poor weather, with protection from cold wind and the sun’s glare, eliminating the need for sunscreen.
Water is kept at a constant recommended 32 degrees to ensure ultimate results for the very young. A shallow area is also available for toddlers and fearful learners to find their footing and experience the fun and safety issues about being in and around water.
Other facilities include comfortable change tables for baby, change rooms and disabled shower and toilet. There is also a fully-fenced outdoor shaded playground area and off-street parking surrounded by landscaped gardens.
GROUP CLASSES & SWIMMING LESSONS
Margie's Swim School has a range of small group classes available for ages including babies to preschool age. Limited adult classes are also available.

Limited to 6 children only per class

FEES
Fees available upon request.
Payment for the entire school term must be paid in advance prior to the commencement of the first class. Please note that all bookings are subject to availability.
Classes are very limited and there is no guarantee that spots will be available.
Bookings will only be secured once payment has been made in full.
Refunds are not provided for missed lessons. Cancellations will also mean that payment for the lesson is forfeited.
